Mashaal – his name means torch – was our bushfire baby. He was born at Elmridge Stud in Sydney as flames surrounded the property! He was another full brother to the Australian National Championship Top Tens and multi champions Madaan and Mazhar, and to Maazina – Top Five at the Nationals before injury halted her career. Mashaal was another of the successful Sarezin/Cherox Miguela cross, so his future would have been as a superb tall gelding. Because of his sweet nature, type and excellent movement we had planned to keep him as a future show horse and riding horse for the children. |
